Update: JP's Preakness Day Final Analysis

We’re underway at Pimlico through the early daily double. Mother Nature deferred and we expect a fast track for Preakness 150.

Scratches threw us off in Races 5 and 12. Make the adjustments there by dropping out of the trifecta keys that I had planned orginally. In fact, Race 5 becomes a race that I’m not interested in playing now without a strong separation of the others. Race 12 was a race where I was picking 1 of the 2 front-runners in a race that set up for speed, and now that leaves only #5 ABRUMAR as potential lone speed. He’ll nicely slide ride into my mix. I’ll look at win and daily double plays to Journalism in the Preakness, plus exacta boxes with TRIKARI (larger) and then smaller exacta boxes with FORT WASHINGTON, DIVIN PROPOS, CRYSTAL QUEST, NEAT. This still remains one of the key betting races on the card.
