Jeremy's Keeneland Thursday Update After Scratches

No major scratches for me on the Thursday card with a fast track/firm turf in play.

The Keeneland Turf Pick 3 on Races 5,7,9 really has a lot of appeal based on my opinions in the first two legs. Several defections in Race 5 make top pick #4 Creditworthy even more solid. My key to the sequence will be if we can get 6-1 ML shot #9 Quatrocento on top in Race 7. Just loved the race at Tampa last time and if he can gut out 1-1/2 miles he might be too brilliant for these marathoners. In Race 9, I’ll spread my wings under top pick #9 Love You Anyway, using 9-10-4-7-12 in a turf MSW category that’s been very rough to favorites over the years.

Since those key plays in the Turf Pick 3 overlap the late pick 5 and the dirt races don’t look like we have to extend very deep, there’s an affordable way to build out if we’re right on those opinions. Late pick 5 begins in Race 5 and I’ll go with 5 with 2,4 with 9 with 5,1 with 9,10,4,7,12 … just a $10 ticket for 50 cents. If we’re right about the 2 grass races we have a decent chance of landing more without a big investment.
