Jeremy's Final Friday Keeneland Thoughts After Scratches

Fast-firm Friday conditions for the Doubledogdare Stakes Day program at Keeneland with no carryovers. The early double looks far less appealing than the later races in terms of prices. Budget accordingly if your opinions agree with me in that respect.

Knock on wood, the early scratches were kind to us on Friday with none of our original top-3 picks in any race impacted. The notable defection from the card is Big Invasion scratched in the Race 8 turf sprint allowance. I was swinging against him, but it would have been nice to see his 2025 return.

There’s no rhyme or reason, but we’ve hit the final race on the card 4 straight days, and one of my key plays today comes in Race 10 with #7 Aspen Dawn (6-1 morning line). The other keys run through Race 5 (#4 Marskman Queen 4-1 ML) and Race 7 (#7 Order Restrained 6-1 ML). The 20-1 ML longshot play of the card comes in Race 6 (#3 Clear the Air).
